AmeriCorps Community Fellows Campus Application

Pennsylvania Campus Compact (PACC) will be making its 2011-2012 AmeriCorps Community Fellows Campus Application available on Monday, January 24, 2011. PACC anticipates having another 500 minimum-time AmeriCorps position available to both our member institutions and non-member campuses for the next academic year. Campuses interested in hosting AmeriCorps Community Fellows for the 2011-2012 program year will need to complete and submit an application by Monday, March 7, 2011.

The purpose of the AmeriCorps Community Fellows program is to address compelling community needs in the areas of college access and success, while developing college students as active citizens. In exchange for committing to serving 300 hours over the course of the calendar year, Community Fellows will receive an AmeriCorps Education Award of $1,132 upon completion of their service. In addition to the AmeriCorps Education Award, Community Fellows will receive ongoing support and training from Pennsylvania Campus Compact, to ensure the quality of the service that they are providing the community, while developing them as life-long citizens.

If your campus would like to become a part of the Community Fellows Program, please visit our website on January 24, 2011 and download, complete, and submit  a campus application by Monday, March 7, 2011.
