Here’s an update on what is happening with plans for the March 2-4, 2011 Gulf-South Summit on Service-Learning and Civic Engagement in Higher Education, Hotel Roanoke, VA:
The Gulf-South Summit is offering five pre-conference workshops on Wednesday, March 2nd, from 1-4 p.m. Learn more about the workshop topics and presenters at: http://www.cpe.vt.edu/gulfsummit/workshops.html.
The Gulf-South plenary speakers are now finalized–and we have a stunning lineup! Read more about what Nadinne Cruz, Tal Stanley, Dan Van Lehman, and Omar Eno will present at:

The Gulf-South Summit is accepting proposals for workshops, presentations, posters, and panels NOW through October 19th. Propose online at: http://www2.opd.outreach.vt.edu:8080/abstracts/VT/gul-south2011.
The call for nominations for Outstanding Practitioner, Partner, Student, Faculty, and Partnership opens in a few weeks–October 5th. Be thinking of who you may want to nominate for recognition. Learn more about Awards at: http://www.cpe.vt.edu/gulfsummit/awards.html.
