Sixth Global Service-Learning Summit, Nov. 3-5

Posted by Global Service-Learning on September 10, 2019

The sixth global service-learning summit will kick off Sunday, November 3, 2019 with a panel including a student, a local foundation representative, and two faculty members from different institutions – all of whom have been working together as part of a network to advance an inclusive Upstate South Carolina.

In an interactive presentation, panelists will share their understanding of change work — the growth of students and professionals from novice to expert; the development of collaborations from preliminary dialogue to co-creation of new work; the movement in communities from operating in accordance with inherited structures to co-laboring for more inclusive, democratic structures and cultures that foster equity and thriving. Audience members will be challenged to engage with the panelists in upstream thinking, attention to design, and care in presence and signaling that guides the work they do together with others.

Join the conversation at the 6th Global Service-Learning Summit at Clemson University from November 3 – 5. Spaces are disappearing; register now.
