2024 Civic Learning and Democratic Engagement Meeting – Jun 5-7

The 2024 Civic Learning and Democratic Engagement meeting β€” a national conference for students, faculty, staff, administrators, and community partners interested in advancing the civic learning and democratic movement in higher education β€” will take place in Detroit, Michigan from June 5 – 7, 2024.

Conference sessions will focus on the following topics:

  • Integrating justice, equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility
  • Incorporating experiential learning opportunities
  • Ensuring sustainable campus-wide voter education and engagement
  • Assessing institution-wide civic learning objectives
  • Implementing curricular and pedagogical strategies
  • Implementing co-curricular and programmatic strategies
  • Expanding civic engagement beyond the institution
