#RealCollege: A National Convening on Food and Housing Insecurity, Sept. 28-29

Posted on June 3, 2019

We invite you to attend our Annual Convening, September 28-29, 2019, at Houston Community College’s West Houston Institute in Houston, Texas. Registration opens May 21. Darrick Hamilton, Executive Director of the Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity at The Ohio State University, will be our Keynote Speaker. You might be familiar with his recent proposal to address the racial wealth gap and college access with baby bonds!

Without sufficient food and a safe place to sleep, college students across the nation are struggling to learn. #RealCollege is the movement to do something about it. Join students, practitioners, policymakers, researchers and activists at the annual #RealCollege convening to develop strategies and take action to secure students’ basic needs.
