The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) recently announced that it is seeking public input as part of a strategic planning process to identify barriers to progress for future research and to define future needs and directions for environmental health. There are six critical questions to which the NIEHS has asked the scientific community and the public to respond. They are also looking for nominations of individuals to participate in a workshop to discuss the plan in more detail. For more information, visit:

The NIEHS was an early supporter of CBPR through its environmental justice and CBPR funding mechanisms. Now is the time to voice support for the NIEHS’ continued investment in CBPR.
