That’s why The Andrew Goodman Foundation (AGF) is hosting a virtual town hall conversation to help break down the decision, answer questions, and discuss how communities can respond. That’s why The Andrew Goodman Foundation (AGF) is hosting a virtual town hall conversation to help break down the decision, answer questions, and discuss how communities can respond.</p>

In 2025, it introduced new questions about the use of generative AI at work, alongside expanded modules on Buy Now, Pay Later, financial fraud, homeowners insurance, and student loan debt. The survey also continues to track other financial topics such as access to credit, housing affordability, child care costs, student loans, economic hardship, and banking.</p>

The Philadelphia Independent Pharmacy Map will be printed as a full color folding pamphlet and be freely distributed in the museum and at participating pharmacies throughout the city. The map will include illustrations of twenty-four featured pharmacies created by undergraduate or recently graduated artists. The originals of the illustrations commissioned for the map will be placed on display in the museum exhibition.</p>
<p><strong>Who&#8217;s eligible:</strong> Undergraduate students currently enrolled in or within one year of graduation from Philadelphia Higher Education Network for Neighborhood Development (PHENND)-affiliated universities. PHENND is a consortium of over 30 colleges and universities in the greater Philadelphia area. <a href="https://phennd.org/about/institutional-partners/"><strong>Click here</strong></a> for a full list of participating universities.</p>
<p><strong>What&#8217;s required:</strong> Selected artists will create illustrations of eight Philadelphia pharmacies. Artists will receive their pharmacies assignments upon their acceptance of the commission. Illustrations must be no smaller than 5&#215;7 in. and no larger than 12&#215;16 in. All eight original illustrations must be received by the museum no later than August 3, 2026.</p>
<p><strong>What&#8217;s awarded:</strong> Artists will receive a $500 cash prize upon project completion. Original artwork will be displayed in the Marvin Samson Museum for the History of Pharmacy, located at 600 S. 43rd Street in Philadelphia, from August through December 2026.</p>
<p><strong>Selection process:</strong> Three artists will be selected by a committee of Saint Joseph&#8217;s University faculty and staff and MSMHP&#8217;s 2024/2025 Artist-in-Residence Teresa Cervantes. Selected artists will be notified by June 5, 2026.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In partnership with 9/11 Day, Shinnyo-en Foundation, and AmeriCorps, this national initiative, <em><a href="https://nylc.org/youth-as-solutions/">Youth As Solutions</a>,</em> invites middle and high school youth to honor the 25th anniversary of September 11 through service, remembrance, and community action.</p>
<p>Through this program, young people will work alongside multi-faith communities to identify and address issues related to hunger in their local communities while building leadership and service-learning skills that create lasting impact.</p>
<p>The Summer Peacemaking Cohort is part of NYLC&#8217;s Youth as Solutions program, a guided service-learning experience where youth teams collaborate with an adult mentor to tackle real community challenges.</p>
<p>Selected teams will receive:</p>
<ul>
<li>Training and coaching from NYLC staff</li>
<li>A digital service-learning toolkit</li>
<li>Access to a national peer learning community</li>
<li>A $1,000 implementation grant</li>
<li>Opportunities to participate in NYLC&#8217;s National 9/11 Day Media Campaign</li>
</ul>
<p>Ten selected teams will work from spring through September 2026 to design and implement community-based projects focused on hunger and peacemaking.</p>
<p>This opportunity is ideal for educators, afterschool programs, youth organizations, and community groups ready to empower young people as leaders and changemakers through meaningful service-learning experiences.</p>
