<p><strong>Position Overview:</strong> This dual role serves as a second on our Finance team, and a primary in our HR team, with unlimited access to a dedicated HR consultant via Paychex. The role is split equally in time anticipated for each.</p>
<p>The Finance Assistant works closely with the Finance Director to ensure smooth execution of essential financial functions of the nonprofit, including payroll, accounts payable, expense administration, receipt management, and interacts with OCCCDA’s Property tenants, Program staff, and Program funding sources.</p>
<p>The Human Resources Administrator oversees core HR functions, including onboarding and documentation, benefits administration, HR systems (Paychex and Flock), compliance and employee relations, and support for professional development and conflict resolution. The HR Administrator also maintains clear communication with staff and vendors to ensure HR processes are accurate, timely, and aligned with organizational policies.</p>
<p>This position is open as part of a leadership transition and organizational strengthening process. OCCCDA is committed to a stable, collaborative, and mission-centered work environment. </b>UC Green is seeking an Executive Director to serve as the organization’s primary staff leader and guide the continued growth and impact of this volunteer-powered community greening nonprofit. The Executive Director currently supervises one part-time staff member supporting a grant-funded initiative and will help guide the organization’s future staffing growth. Working closely with the Board of Directors, volunteers, and community partners; the Executive Director is responsible for ensuring UC Green’s programs, partnerships, and organizational operations advance UC Green’s mission of expanding tree planting and engaging residents in cooperative urban greening efforts across West Philadelphia.</p>

This individual supports school leaders in strategic data use, intervention planning, continuous improvement practices, and effective team structures designed to improve 9th Grade On-Track outcomes, which are highly correlated to on-time high school graduation.</p>
<p>In addition to directly coaching school leaders, the Coach collaborates closely with the broader 9th Grade Success Network team to plan and facilitate Network-wide Community of Practice meetings and professional learning experiences for the full 9th Grade Success Network — a network of soon-to-be 30 high schools in the School District of Philadelphia.</p>

<p>The Grants Management &amp; Compliance Officer serves as the Department of Planning &amp; Development’s lead authority on fiscal grants compliance. The position oversees adherence to financial regulations, internal controls, and reporting requirements across all federal, state, and philanthropic funding sources, with particular emphasis on HUD programs, including CDBG, HOME, HOPWA, ESG, and special allocations. The role ensures accurate interpretation of financial regulations, strong internal controls, timely reporting, and consistent documentation practices across the department.</p>
<p>The Grants Management &amp; Compliance Officer develops and maintains the department’s fiscal grants compliance framework, including policies, procedures, controls, and training. The position designs and delivers training on fiscal allowability, eligibility, source documentation, and cost principles to support accurate accounting, audit readiness, and consistent financial practices. The role works closely with Accounting, Budget, Contract Management, the Monitoring and Compliance Unit, and program divisions to assess fiscal risks, support reporting, review financial components of compliance findings, and implement process improvements. This role may also supervise subordinate staff.</p>
<p>This role also serves as the primary fiscal point of contact supporting the Compliance and Monitoring Unit in their interactions with HUD. The position provides financial documentation, reconciliations, and regulatory interpretation to ensure grant-funded fiscal actvities meet federal requirements. The Grants Management &amp; Compliance Officer elevates and helps resolve HUD-related financial issues in coordination with the Monitoring Unit, while maintaining strong fiscal control systems and improving procedures, reports, and trainings that reinforce compliant, accurate grant accounting practices.</p>
