The next Collaboratory Scholars zoom meeting is November 9, 1:00-2:00 PM.
The Scholars is a Zoom meet-up for graduate and undergraduate students across the country who are interested in community engagement and professional development. Collaboratory works with universities nationwide to track community engagement and public service data. In our work we have witnessed the need for a space where students interested in community engagement may convene and explore professional and scholarly opportunities.
This casual Zoom meet-up provides students a network beyond their campus and a space to explore new ways of thinking about higher education community engagement. Together we hope to foster the next generation of community-engaged scholars, professionals, and alumni who have a greater understanding of and appreciation for the public mission of higher education and its role in society.
