Community Engaged Learning (CEL) is a powerful pedagogy that centers community impact along student learning in college level courses. But how do I do it? This workshop will introduce the pedagogical foundations of CEL as well as provide successful examples CEL in college classes. Included in the presentation will be a discussion of partnership development, student learning outcomes, assessing community impacts, and building institutional support for CEL at your school.

This workshop will be facilitated by Dr. Anthony C. Siracusa, assistant professor of history and community engagement at St. John Fisher University in Rochester, New York.
