WorkReady Philadelphia (2003 Name for Programs) Opportunities for Youth to Earn & Learn – HOTLINE: 215-875-5042
What is WorkReady Philadelphia?
For the first time in summer 2003, YouthWorks and The Summer Career Exploration Program (SCEP) will be brought together under the aegis of the Philadelphia Workforce Investment Board Youth Council and administered through the Philadelphia Youth Network.
WorkReady Philadelphia will provide opportunities for youth between the ages of 14-21 to:
* Improve their academic skills
* Complete a project or portfolio
* Earn credit towards graduation
* Gain valuable work experience
* Serve their community
All while earning money!
WorkReady Philadelphia programs begin June 30, 2003 and end August 15, 2003.
Dates vary according to program.
