YouthBuild needs donated computers for training program
The YouthBuild Philadelphia Charter School provides former high school dropouts with the opportunity to earn a diploma and job training, including hands-on technology skills through refurbishing used computers. The students in its IT Training Program, all part-time AmeriCorps members, refurbish used computers and donate them to families and organizations in need.
The school needs donations of used computers in order to refurbish them. This includes CPU’s (working or in need of refurbishing), hard drives, RAM, laptops, printers, keyboards, and most other computer components.
