Youth serving organizations needed for Summer Enrichment Programs Fair

Posted by Watch God Move Deliverance Ministries on December 10, 2019
On Saturday, March 21, 2020 Watch God Move Deliverance Ministries will be hosting our 1st Annual Summer Enrichment Programs Youth Fair for underserved youth within the community.  Their goal is to provide youth of all ages and their parents with programs that will enrich their youth during the summer.  Watch God Move Deliverance Ministries understands the benefits of summer programs for underserved youth in the community, and summer programs will help our youth stay productive, develop self-reliance and independence, make new friends, gain new social skills, and so much more.  One additional benefit of summer programs is that it helps students avoid the “summer slide”.  According to numerous studies, students are extremely likely to experience learning loss during summer vacation-also known as the summer slide.  Because they are not engaging in learning every day, students forget what they have learned during the school year.  However, by participating in learning-based activities, students can avoid this academic regression.
In order for the 1st Annual Summer Enrichment Program Youth Fair to be a success they are in need of organizations that are tailored to youth ages 5-18 years old within the Greater Philadelphia area.  The Summer Enrichment Programs Youth Fair will be held at Watch God Move Deliverance Ministries on Saturday, March 21, 2020 9:30am-1:30pm.  Watch God Move Deliverance Ministries is located at 7013 Torresdale Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19135.  Your participation will be much appreciated.  If you are available to participate please respond no later than Friday, February 7, 2020.  Please contact me via phone: 816-588-0246 or email: Beverly Halsey MS, MA, Director of Youth Programs, [email protected].
