The American Red Cross of Southeastern Pennsylvania is seeking candidates for the position of Youth Services Per Diem Instructor. This Instructor Specialist will implement training programs at schools and community as scheduled and contracted by the Youth Services department. Youth training programs include HIV education for youth and adults, health and safety programs for children, babysitting and leadership training for adolescents, and other training programs. Hours of training are typically in the daytime, however, some training sessions are conducted during weekends and evenings. Presentation, training, teaching, instruction, or tutoring experience is required. Training in First Aid and CPR, Basic HIV Fundamentals, and Youth Safety course certificate training will be provided by the American Red Cross. Criminal and child abuse background checks are required. Qualifications: HS diploma or GED; valid driver’s license and access to an automobile are required; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
