ANNOUNCING A NEW AND EXCITING CONFERENCE FOR PROFESSIONALS WORKING WITH YOUTH PROGRAMMING!

What: Youth Professionals: Trends and Perspectives 2003
When: November 5 – 7, 2003
Where: The Penn State Conference Center Hotel

FOR: Professionals who plan youth programming such as Extension Agents,4-H Agents/Leaders, Continuing Education, Community Service Groups and other youth-serving professionals

Mark your dates to join this exciting professional development conference for professionals who plan and deliver youth programs in a variety of settings. Our invited keynote speaker, Karen Pittman, from the Forum for Youth Investment, will set the tone for the conference discussing trends in youth programming.

The conference will begin on Wednesday, November 5 at 2:00 p.m. and conclude on Friday afternoon, November 7. The format includes several plenary sessions with invited speakers, concurrent sessions by professionals working in the field, and a best practices poster reception with a great deal of networking woven in.

You are invited to submit a concurrent session or best practices poster proposal by July 10, 2003 which will be reviewed by the program committee.Proposals should be typed and double spaced

Description of presentation/Poster: Should be 45 – 50 words or less.

Brief description of presenter:Include job title, agency/organization, address phone numbers, e-mail address.

Presentation/Poster abstract:
No more than one page. Include what the participants will learn from the presentation. Be specific and concise. Also indicate concurrent presentation or poster presentation.
