Young People’s Revolutions: Examining Youth Movements Around the World
This lesson plan pools resources on how young people are leading protests and social action in 4 countries (Tunisia, Venezuela, India/Kashmir, and the Philippines).
Students have the chance to connect with youth-led revolts around the world and consider youth movements in their own communities, reflecting on questions such as: What social issues matter to young people in other countries? What issues matter to you? How do your concerns fit into a global picture?
