Free Training: Mental Health First Aid

Learn the warning signs and how YOU can help!
August 8th & 15th
Attendance on both days is required
8:30am to 1:00pm
Youth Mental Health First Aid is designed to teach parents, family members, caregivers, teachers, school staff, peers, neighbors, health and human services workers, and other caring citizens how to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge or is in crisis.
Participants learn the 5 Step ALGEE action plan which is administered until appropriate treatment and sup-port are received or until the crisis is resolved
Participants also receive a 3 year national certification and comprehensive MHFA manual
