Youth Homelessness in The Greater Philadelphia Area

Here are the facts:
* Families with children comprise 40% of the U.S. homeless population.
* Requests for emergency shelter by homeless families with children increased on an average of 15% in 2002.
* Homelessness and poverty rates increased over 35% between 2001 and 2003.
