America’s Promise issues youth guide to dropout prevention
Are you a young leader looking to help fight the dropout crisis and get involved in the work of the America’s Promise Alliance?
To help, the Alliance has published Impact 5: A Youth Guide For Having An Impact in Your Community, a new community action guide that helps youth reflect on the Five Promises, assess their availability in their community, and create a project to help the children and youth in their community get more of the resources they need to succeed.
By undertaking Impact 5, youth join the Impact Network, through which they’ll gain access to more resources, have the opportunity to have their project highlighted in Alliance publications, and enter for a chance to win trips to upcoming events.
