(Savings With A Goal)

Saturday, April 17, 2010
St. Joseph’s University
Bellarmine Hall

Philadelphia, PA 19131

PRESENTED BY:
DELTA SIGMA THETA SORORITY, INC.
PHILADELPHIA ALUMNAE CHAPTER
IN COLLABORATION WITH
ST. JOSEPH’S UNIVERSITY OFFICE OF MULTICULTURAL STUDENT AFFAIRS

The conference is designed to inform and educate young people about wealth building strategies. The goal is to present information and activities that will provide knowledge about earning, saving, investing and making money. It is a hands on, interactive program that involves the participants in specific activities and allows them to practice the techniques presented during the conference.

The Philadelphia Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is presenting this conference in honor of one of our most prestigious members, the late Juanita Kidd Stout. Judge Stout was the first African American woman in America to be elected judge, serving in the Municipal and Common Pleas Courts in Philadelphia and serving the Pennsylvania State Supreme Court. Through her work in and outside the courtroom, Judge Stout gave generously of herself. She influenced hundreds of young people and redirected their lives in constructive ways. Therefore, it is fitting that we honor her with this conference.
