About us: Fab Youth Philly (FYP) Fab Youth Philly (FYP) is an award-winning youth development nonprofit. We create meaningful year-round workforce development opportunities for teens ages 14-19 through summer and after-school jobs. For over 85% of participants, FYP is their first job, and we ensure they gain critical career skills from the application process through exit surveys.
Position Summary: Fab Youth Philly is seeking to hire a full-time, exceptional Youth Development Professional who will support, oversee, and grow our youth programming. You will be responsible for the supervision and support of small groups of teens in our various Out-of-School Time (OST) including afterschool, summer, and weekend programing such as Play Captains, Lifeguard Certification, Skills for a Fab Life, Youth Advisory Board and more.
The core responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: relationship building & leadership development among and with small groups of teens; curriculum development and facilitation of workshops and training on a range of topics for young people ages 15-19, youth recruitment and engagement; partnership development; and contributions to reports and data collection.
