Angel Awards to Honor Children for Community Service
Deadline: June 22, 2002

Georgia-Pacific, maker of Angel Soft bath tissue, is providing support for the third annual Angels in Action Awards Program. The program is designed to reward children and youth who perform exemplary acts of service to benefit a community, charity, or cause.

Ten “Angels” between the ages of 8 and 15 (as of June 22, 2002) will be selected to receive the $5,000 awards. Legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico 18 years or older may submit nominations. Entries will be judged on the nominee’s dedication to his or her community, charity, or cause. Nominees must be U.S. residents.
