Youth Advisor –Girls’ Team

Covenant House Pennsylvania is hiring a Youth Advisor for our 51 bed Crisis Residential Center in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. Youth Advisor responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
§ Assisting in the development, implementation and evaluation of client goal plans
§ Conducting assessments to determine referrals to internal and external programs and services.
§ Implementing life skills training to prepare youth for independent living.
§ Overseeing client activities and all group or individual sessions.
§ Ensuring the safety and well being of the youth we serve.
§ Providing direct, supportive, individualized care utilizing case management skills
A degree in a human service or related field is required. The successful candidate must have excellent communication and crisis management skills, a strong desire to work with at-risk adolescents, and the ability to handle physically and emotionally challenging situations. A valid driver’s license and insurable driving record is required.
