Your Voice Matters: Apply Now for PhillyCAM Youth Media Programs

Posted by PhillyCAM on September 2, 2025

We believe young people should be at the center of storytelling and now is your chance to step into that spotlight. This fall, PhillyCAM is offering two exciting programs where youth can build real media-making skills, share their voices, and get their work broadcast on TV and radio. These programs are supportive, collaborative, and designed for you to grow as creators and leaders.

Hear Us Out Radio Program (Ages 13–21)

Your voice has power  and it’s time to disrupt the airwaves! In Hear Us Out, you’ll create a live youth-produced radio show on WPPM 106.5 FM. Learn interviewing, storytelling, audio editing, and leadership skills while being part of a team of young creatives.

Participants receive a stipend for their work and get to host, produce, and broadcast their own stories on radio and TV.

When: Tuesdays & Wednesdays, Oct 15 – May 28 | 5–7PM
Monthly Live Show: First Tuesday of each month (in-person)
