The Young Involved Philadelphia (YIP) Board Prep Program is a leadership development program designed to prepare young professionals for non-profit board service. Participants learn directly from local experts, build lasting networks, and connect with community groups looking for new leadership.
We are currently accepting applications on a rolling basis, with our first session beginning September 17. We encourage you to apply if you’re interested and/or to share this with your communities!
The program cost is $250, but we offer flexible payment plans and scholarships to ensure that cost is never a barrier. View a copy of our organization partner and facilitator lookbook from last cohort for more info.
Board Prep has a strong track record of impact: AC alumni like Wei Liu, Hanna Kim, and Kelsey Guinnup have gone on to serve on YIP’s board and beyond, shaping the future of Philadelphia’s nonprofit sector.
