YMCA Needs Tutors!

Help an adult learn to read and write or to learn English as a Second Language. Volunteer as a tutor for the YMCA of Philadelphia Adult Education Program.
Description: 3 hours/week of one-on-one or classroom-assistant adult literacy tutoring for at least 6 months.
No experience needed. Training is available. See below for training dates.
Basic Tutor Training at the Central YMCA (1425 Arch Street, 3rd Floor):
January 14th & 16th 5:30-7:30pm
March 18th & 20th 5:30-7:30pm
English as a Second Language at the Cheltenham Libraries (Elkins Park or Glenside)
February 25th & 27th 5:30-7:30pm
April 15th & 17th 5:30-7:30pm
