Write Away: Grant Writing Internship

Creating a digital world where everyone is included and able to express themselves requires addressing the digital divide that exists between those with and without access to technology and the opportunities to use that technology. Write Away wants to close this opportunity gap by providing meaningful and fun opportunities for digitally-based writing and expression. This is especially important now as education shifts online and distance learning becomes the new normal.

About the Position
As a newly formed non-profit organization, we are looking to capitalize on multiple revenue streams to help fund our operating expenses. In addition to digital and traditional fundraising, there are a plethora of grants available in the education space and we are looking for someone with experience in the field to help us determine the most applicable grants and then assist in the application and execution of the grants. As a 501(c)(3), potential grantors include government agencies, universities, and private philanthropic organizations.

This is a part-time (up to 20 hours per week), remote volunteer role for now with the potential to grow with the organization.
