World Heritage Trip Grant for Teachers

The South Asia Center at the University of Pennsylvania will award five Greater Philadelphia teachers $1,000 grants to offset the total program fee ($1,985) for the World Heritage Trip to India & Nepal August 1-16, 2017.
Winning educators must
1.) Teach in the Greater Philadelphia area for the academic year 2017-2018
2.) Demonstrate a commitment to teaching about South Asia in the next academic year
3.) Create 5 lesson plans after the trip by the end of the fall 2017 semester
To be considered for a travel grant please complete the following application by March 13th, 2017.
Winners will be announced by email on March 14th, 2017.
To secure the grant, winners must put down a $250 registration deposit and the $1,000 grant will be credited toward the program fee balance. Registration details for the trip: https://www.geeo.org/tours/PhillyIndiaNepal/
