Project Manager – World Heritage Councils
Channel 35 – non-commercial public TV. The goal of the project is to enhance service to the diverse ethnic communities of our region. 12 individual councils, comprised of community leaders and inerested individuals, make up the councils.
Responsibilities:
<li> Facilitate meetings of WHC members
<li> Encourage membership in WHC
<li> Advocate and implement projects
<li> Manage financial components of project
Qualifications:
<li> Ability of aggressively "sell" membership absolutely essential
<li> Experience managing others; experience managing community or volunteer groups preferred
<li> Excellent leadership and project management skills
<li> Grant writing experience
<li> Stong computer skills – Word and Excel
<li> Highly organized and detailed oriented.
<li> Able to work independently and under strict deadlines.
<li> Capable of effectively juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
<li> Interest in station mission of diversity and multi-culturalism.
<li> College degree in field.
