World Cultures Day with Penn Museum – Apr 1 (Apply by Mar 15)
Posted by Penn Museum on March 8, 2022
High school educators and their students are invited to participate in the Penn Museum’s FREE World Cultures Day 2022. This one-day virtual event presented by Penn Middle East Center, Penn South Asia Center, and Penn Museum provides high school students with an opportunity to nurture interest in global studies and gain a better understanding of diversity around the world. Students will hear a keynote from doctoral student of Anthropology, Robert Vigar, entitled The Unseen Masriyeen: Exploring the relationship between archaeology, heritage and local communities in Egypt. Following the keynote, students will interact with an International Classroom educator, and learn more about the Penn Museum’s global collections.
