Events highlight programs for re-entry of ex-offenders
A series of events and presentations has been scheduled for the next few weeks focusing on programs that help ex-offenders in their re-entry to society.
Restorative Justice in Action: Challenges for Philadelphia will take place on Friday, September 28th from 9am to 4pm at Villanova University, The Connelly Center, 800 Lancaster Avenue in Villanova. The conference will explore Restorative Justice challenges in Philadelphia. The conference will include a panel discussion with victims and offenders, and afternoon breakout sessions with restorative justice practitioners.
On Tuesday, October 16th from 9am to 4pm, the Southeastern Regional Reentry Conference: Collaborating to Implement Evidence-Based Practices will take place at Lathem Hall at Widener University in Chester. The conference will focus on collaboration and evidence-based practices and feature three panels as well as a keynote speaker.
