Workshop U: Postsecondary Program for Young Adults (age 18-25)
Posted by Workshop U on May 6, 2025
Workshop U is a one-year, credit-bearing program for 18–24 year-olds that blends coursework, personalized coaching, and paid internships. Students gain clarity about their future and build the skills they need to take meaningful next steps – whether that’s college, job training, or a career with a family-sustaining wage.
It’s an ideal bridge for recent grads or alumni who are still figuring things out. The program is part-time, starts in September, and includes:
- A 9-month schedule (Sept 2025–May 2026)
- Two in-person days per week (Tuesdays + Thursdays, 9am–3pm)
- Up to 15 transferable college credits
- A paid internship experience
- A supportive learning community at West Chester University’s Philly campus (8th & Market)
Cost: Free for all accepted students.
Grounded in adolescent brain science and current labor market trends, Workshop U is designed for emerging adults—especially those underserved by traditional postsecondary paths—who need time, space, and support to figure out what’s next and how to get there.
Workshop U: Figure out what you want to do next in life—and get the support to make it happen.
