As a result of this interactive workshop, participants will:
? Distinguish specific characteristics of the behavior from various misconceptions and clinical stereotypes;
? Develop a framework to view the behavior in the broader context of the client;
? Determine appropriate points of intervention to assist the client engaged in self-mutilation; and
? Develop risk assessment and intervention strategies for individuals and groups engaged in self-mutilation behaviors.
CORA Services is an Authorized Provider of Psychologist Credits, NBCC and PA Act 48 Credits (5.0 CE credits) and SW Credits (4.5 CE credits) for this workshop.
