Workshop: Future Thinking: You Can’t Get There From Here – Jan 28
Posted by Hungry Education on December 15, 2020
2020 has had many of us facing looming uncertainty, pushing us into decision-making that comes from a place of defense rather than growth or opportunity. As we look to 2021 and beyond, it’s hard to conceive of a future that is open to possibility. As leaders of people who rely on us for our responsible direction, it’s even harder to take that risk. We created this workshop as an introduction to future thinking. Using elements of storytelling and play, we lead participants through a simple process that opens up the channels of curiosity in spite of uncertainty.
The workshop is good for big thinkers, leaders, consultants, founders, activists, educators, community leaders, and anyone else who is looking to move forward in 2021.
At the end of this workshop participants will:
- Gain three strategies to foster a spirit of curiosity in the workplace
- Evaluate 2020 innovations for lasting impact
- Craft takeaways such as a story to share with stakeholders, early-stage project idea, new area or issue to research, a new way to approach a challenge
Facilitators are Jen Brevoort of PopupPlay and Megan Haupt of Hungry Education.
Date and Time: January 28, 2021, 2:00-3:00 PM
This is an online event. Participants will be provided a call link and class resources 24. hrs before the workshop. RSVP is required and space is limited to 20 participants. Ticket info here.
