Workshop Facilitation and Parenting Education Training

Lakeside offers facilitation, parent education certificate
Lakeside Educational Network’s Institute for Professional Education & Development has announced a certification training in Workshop Facilitation and Parenting Education Training starting November 2nd.
Participants are professionals who work with children and families and/or professionals who train staff who work with children or families or those interested in providing educational opportunities for families to be better equipped to parent effectively.
The training involves a 26-week course to certify participants as Professional Workshop Facilitators or Certified Parenting Educators. This course enhances and enriches the knowledge and skill bases of those who currently work with children and/or families and prepares those who are interesting in becoming workshop facilitators or parenting educators.
The training takes place at Lakeside’s training facility in Fort Washington and costs $1,200. Social Work CEUs, Act 48 or PQAS hours and IPED Accreditation available.
