Domestic violence training offered
The Bilingual Domestic Violence Program of Lutheran Settlement House will offer Working with Domestic Violence Survivors, a training for professionals, on Thursday, October 15th.

The workshop will focus on introducing participants to the dynamics of domestic violence on victims and their children, barriers to safety for victims and an introduction to effective intervention strategies.
Participants will learn about empowerment counseling, stages of change and safety planning, the training will include the use of role plays and interactive exercises to teach effective skills.
The training will be held from 9:30am-4:30pm at Women Organized Against Rape, 1617 JFK Boulevard, Suite 1100. Pre-registration is required. Six social work CEUS are available. For more information, email Marisol Rodriguez at [email protected] or call 215-426-8601 ext 236.
