Workforce Instructor, Evoluer House

Posted by Evoluer House on July 27, 2015

Evoluer House is a non-profit in Philadelphia that works to serve disadvantaged girls of color through personal and workforce development workshops.

Evoluer House started their 2015 summer program on July 7th, and so far we are off to a great start. Our girls in the personal development workshop have learned about self-esteem, health and nutrition, and grooming. In the workforce development workshop, the girls were given lessons in professional etiquette, resume building, and identifying values and goals.

I’m reaching out to you to kindly ask if you might know someone in your network who would like to jump in and be our workforce instructor for the remainder of the summer program (until August 27th.) Working with EH would be a fantastic opportunity for anyone who wants to work in the field, promote civic engagement, and impact the lives of girls in Philadelphia.

It is a paid position ($35/hour, 10 am – 1 pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays, at Peirce College.) We already have the curriculum laid out, but it can be changed and tailored. The instructor would receive plenty of support from me!

If you or anyone in your network might be interested in this position, please let me know asap. We are eager to fill the spot, as we do not want to disrupt the girls’ flow and want to give them the best instructor possible!
