Posted by on January 31, 2003
The Workforce 2000 Advisory Council in association with the Mayor’s Commission on Technology (MCOT) is coordinating the 5th Annual Black Family Technology Awareness Week scheduled to be held citywide from 2/9 – 2/15/03. If anyone with a computer lab would like to promote it by hosting an “open house” related activity during this week and would like to add it to the schedule of events, please drop me a line or submit it using the online form @ http://www.roundtheway.org/techweek.
We are also looking for Speakers / Presenters @ a Professional Development Workshop on Thursday, 2/13th from 4 – 8 p.m., and an IT Career Fair @ Ben Franklin High School on Friday, 2/14 from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m.
