The Y.E.P program can prepare you for great employment opportunities with partnering employers!
We provide assistance to qualifying teens and young adults between the ages of 14 to 24 years old who reside in Montgomery County with various activities and services that include but are not limited to resume writing, interview skills, job applications, certifications and work readiness training. A variety of activities and services are offered to participants that cater to each individual’s needs. Explore careers, college or advanced training programs, and receive certifications that qualify you for higher paying employment in the area. Opportunities are endless! **Interested qualifying individuals must attend one of the work readiness workshops listed above in order to be referred to an employment opportunity during the 2015-2016 holiday season. Individuals must be aware that registering for the YEP program registers them for year-round services and engagement in activities toward their individualized set education and employment goals. Each participant applies with the employer independently, YEP provides support during the hiring process. Participating local employers are not mandated to hire referred YEP participants and employment is not guaranteed. **
