WOMENS WAY NEEDS VOLUNTEERS! (NOT FOR FUNDRAISING!)
As part of its 25th Anniversary year, WOMENS WAY has partnered with the Alice Paul Center for Research on Women and Gender and Solutions for Progress to produce “A Change of Pace : Accelerating Women’s Progress , ” a study of women’s socio-economic status that will be released in December 2002.
WOMENS WAY needs volunteers to help with a key part of the study – a random survey of people’s perception of women’s roles and realities in the five-county Philadelphia area. Volunteers are needed to conduct this telephone survey.
Sessions will run each week day (Mon-Thur) from September 12-26 from 5:30-9:00 p .m. Each session will begin with a brief training. The phone calls will be made from a Center City location: Solutions for Progress, 1800 JFK Blvd. 5th Floor, Philadelphia.
For more information or to sign up for this interesting and critical task, call Liz Werthan at 215-875-7022 or email her: [email protected].
