Call for Applications – Turning Point Action Award

WOMEN’S WAY and Women for Social Innovation are excited to announce a call for applications for a new prize.

The Turning Point Action Award is being offered by Women for Social Innovation, a donor-advised fund of WOMEN’S WAY.

The $15,000 award is earmarked for a social entrepreneur — a student over 18 years of age who is enrolled in an institution of higher education — to implement a project that will have a real and meaningful benefit to women, girls and families. The applicants will be judged on project goals, vision of success, innovation, impact, feasibility, and entrepreneurial spirit.

Help spread the word.  Please forward this information along to academic institutions and students interested in working with Women for Social Innovation and WOMEN’S WAY to make a positive impact on women, girls and families in our community.

The application must be completed and received by WOMEN’S WAY by 5:00 pm on December 29, 2008.
