Women’s Opportunities Resource Center (WORC) is actively recruiting Refugees/Asylees between now and the first week of March to provide them with business development assistance and access to business loans (up to $20,000) to start or expand their businesses.
Who qualifies?
- The following statuses as defined by USCIS (to be verified by appropriate documentation): Refugees, Asylees, Cuban and Haitian entrants, victims of a severe form of trafficking, or an Afghan/Iraqi with a special immigrant visa. Women are especially encouraged to apply!
- Must reside in anyone of the following PA counties: Montgomery, Philadelphia, Bucks, Delaware, and Chester counties.
- Must develop a business plan and be willing to work with WORC staff for as needed support. One-on-one technical assistance group classes are provided to those who need assistance.
