Mid Penn Bank Women’s Leadership Network Invites Applications for Small Grants
Founded in 2018 and led by a committee, the Mid Penn Bank Women’s Leadership Network (WLN) was created as a way for female colleagues at all levels, to make connections, share knowledge and experiences, learn about leadership, and enrich their professional development journeys.
In 2021, the WLN formed a Small Grant Committee with a goal to support programs that educate and empower women. The grant program is open to nonprofit organizations that impact the following areas, including (but not limited to): health and wellness (including mental health); human services; education; housing assistance; and workforce preparedness and vocational skills. Grants of up to $2,000 will be awarded, not to exceed a total of $12,000 for the granting period.
Applicants must be in or serving within the Pennsylvania counties of Berks, Bucks, Chester, Cumberland, Dauphin, Fayette, Lancaster, Luzerne, Montgomery, Northumberland, Schuylkill, or Westmoreland and have confirmed charitable status as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization through the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). If 501(c)(3) status is not yet established, agencies seeking funding through this grant program must confirm partnership with an appropriate organization or fiscal sponsor at the time a grant proposal is submitted.
For complete program guidelines and to download the application, see the Mid Penn Bank website.
Deadline: October 31, 2021
