Celebrate Women’s Equality Day with the Alice Paul Institute
Wednesday, August 26, marks the 89th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment which guaranteed women the right to vote. The Alice Paul Institute, a WOMEN’S WAY Community Women’s Fund grantee, will honor this day with a presentation featuring Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney, who will discuss her new book, Rumors of Our Progress Have Been Greatly Exaggerated. A reception and book signing will follow the presentation. This event will take place at historic Paulsdale in Mt. Laurel, NJ.
