Women in Nontraditional Careers (WINC)
Posted by Philadelphia Works Inc. on March 7, 2023
Women in nontraditional careers often earn more than women who have earned a four-year degree, graduating without debt and earning more over their lifetime. Let’s keep earning. The Women in Nontraditional Careers (WINC) Project is a Philadelphia regional collaboration to support, increase and advance the participation of women in construction, manufacturing and transit careers.
Philadelphia Works, Inc. (PWI) runs a union apprenticeship program for young women who are interested in nonconventional careers such as construction, manufacturing, transit, and utilities.
