Women for Social Innovation Turning Point Prize

Women for Social Innovation is now accepting applications for the third annual Turning Point Prize of $15,000.
This prize will support the project of an emerging social entrepreneur whose idea holds promise to improve the lives of women, girls, and families in the Greater Philadelphia area.
Women for Social Innovation is a Philadelphia area giving circle that provides financial support and advises a donor-advised fund of WOMEN’S WAY.
Applicants for The Turning Point Prize must be between the ages of 18 and 35 and reside in or be enrolled in a college or university in the Greater Philadelphia area.
Criteria and Application Guidelines
Two pre-application information sessions will be held at WOMEN’S WAY, 123 S. Broad St., Philadelphia PA 19109, 8th Floor. Applicants are encouraged to attend. The first session will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 pm on Wednesday, October 13, 2010; and the second from 8:30 to 9:30 am on Friday, November 19, 2010.
The final completed application must be received by WOMEN’S WAY by 5:00 pm on December 28, 2010. The winner will be announced on May 11, 2011 at the annual WOMEN’S WAY Powerful Voice Awards Dinner.
