Women Entrepreneurs’ Circle: A Wellness Walk on Girard Avenue East
Saturday, June 25, 2011, 10am to 12pm
East Girard Avenue, Philadelphia
Join Empowerment Group as we visit several women-owned businesses along Girard Avenue East, all centered around health and wellness! Learn about what these ladies do and meet business peers as we stroll along.
Sites we will be visiting include:
The Barefoot Doctor Community Acupuncture Clinic (http://www.barefootclinic.com)
618 East Girard Ave.
Meet Jenny Corbin, owner of the acupuncture clinic that offers equal treatment to everyone. Her clinic operates on an income-based sliding scale of $15-$35 that allows her to provide one of the oldest, most commonly used systems of healing for all types of clients.
Elevate Your Spirits (http://www.elevateyourspirits.com/)
424 East Girard Ave.
Christal Brinson will take us through the business she uses to create a comfortable, relaxing environment where customers will find “Someone who cares!” Learn about the various sides of her business, including therapeutic deep tissue massage, reflexology, and natural nail service.
These FREE events provide opportunities to voice business issues, brainstorm solutions, and build strong relationships with other women entrepreneurs.
