Women Entrepreneurs’ Circle Meets SA VA
Start Date/Time: Saturday, February 26, 2011 10:00 AM-12:00 PM
Sarah Van Aken of SA VA runs a clothing brand that is unique in more than just its fashion. SA VA is an ethical clothing and accessories brand that combines effortless, individual style with strong social consciousness. With a flagship store, design studio on Sansom Street, and an adjacent garment center creating ninety percent of their garments with fair-trade and often eco friendly materials, SA VA is locally made, globally inspired and community focused fashion. After sharing her business story, Sarah will lead a tour of her upstairs workshop where the clothes are made.
At this social event, attendees will have the opportunity to voice their business issues, brainstorm solutions, and build supportive relationships. Come out to network with other women entrepreneurs and to learn about this exciting local business!
The event will take place at SA VA’s flagship store at 1700 Sansom Street, Philadelphia, 19103. To RSVP, call Veronica Perez at 215-427-9245.
