Witnesses to Hunger 5 Year Anniversary Exhibit & Event
Posted by on November 11, 2013
In 2008, a group of women from North Philadelphia were given cameras to take pictures and speak out about their first hand experiences with hunger and poverty for a project known as Witnesses to Hunger.
Today, that project has grown to include over 80 Witnesses in sites from Boston to Baltimore. The Witnesses have and continue to spark dialogue, engage and inform policy makers, and inspire change.
Join us on December 11th for a night of reflection, celebration, and action in the location of the very first exhibit:
Drexel University’s Bossone Research Center
First Floor Lobby and Mitchell Auditorium
3140 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104
Programming for the evening will begin at 7:00.
