Walkable places are beating out auto-oriented places in big cities, suburbs and small towns. Walkable places are seeing faster growth in population, property values, and job growth.
Noted author, Philip Langdon, will speak about the revival in walkable places and his new book, “Within Walking Distance: Creating Liveable Communities For All.” Inquirer architecture critic, Inga Saffron, will lead the Q&A after Phil’s talk.
